Trademark Guidelines

Last updated: February 10, 2026

1. Introduction

These Trademark Guidelines ("Guidelines") govern the use of the trademarks, service marks, logos, and brand assets owned by WhatISupport LLC ("WhatISupport," "we," "us," or "our"). WhatISupport LLC enforces its trademark rights to protect users and maintain trust in the WhatISupport brand and ecosystem.

2. The WhatISupport Marks

These Guidelines apply to all of our trademarks and service marks, whether registered or unregistered, including but not limited to:

  • The word mark "WhatISupport"
  • The WhatISupport logo and any variations thereof
  • The WhatISupport website design, trade dress, and visual identity
  • Any other trademarks, logos, or branding associated with WhatISupport LLC

You may not use any trademarks, logos, or branding not specifically addressed in these Guidelines without prior written permission from WhatISupport LLC.

3. Acceptable Uses

You may use the WhatISupport name without prior permission in the following cases, provided you do not, in our sole judgment, diminish or damage the WhatISupport brand or harm the WhatISupport community:

  • To truthfully refer to or link to WhatISupport, its website, or its Services (e.g., "My profile is on WhatISupport").
  • To share, display, or distribute your WhatISupport profile materials — including QR codes, Apple Wallet passes, profile links, and any other assets generated by the Services — exactly as provided by WhatISupport, for the purpose of sharing your profile with others. You may not alter, modify, or remove WhatISupport branding from these materials.
  • To accurately describe a relationship with WhatISupport (e.g., "Built using WhatISupport"), provided you also clearly state that your project is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by WhatISupport LLC.
  • In news reporting, commentary, criticism, or other fair use contexts, provided such use does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

4. Uses Requiring Permission

The following uses of WhatISupport trademarks require prior written approval from WhatISupport LLC:

  • Commercial products or services: Using WhatISupport trademarks to sell, market, or promote products or services.
  • Merchandise: Creating items bearing WhatISupport trademarks (such as apparel, accessories, or physical goods), whether for sale or free distribution.
  • Company or business names: Incorporating "WhatISupport" or any confusingly similar name into your company, product, or business name.
  • Domain names and social media: Using "WhatISupport" or similar variations in domain names, email addresses, or social media handles.
  • Marketing and sponsorships: Using WhatISupport trademarks in advertising, fundraising, promotions, or sponsorship materials not directly related to WhatISupport.
  • Educational materials: Using WhatISupport trademarks in textbooks, courses, tutorials, or other educational content.

To request permission, contact us at [email protected].

5. Proper Usage

When using WhatISupport trademarks with permission, follow these rules:

  • Spell it correctly: Always use "WhatISupport" as one word with the capital "I" and capital "S". Do not alter the spelling, hyphenate, abbreviate, or translate it.
  • Do not modify logos: Use the WhatISupport logo exactly as provided. Do not alter colors, proportions, or design elements. Scaling is permitted.
  • Give it space: When displaying the WhatISupport logo, provide adequate clear space around it so it is legible and distinct.
  • Use as an adjective: Use "WhatISupport" as an adjective, not as a noun or verb (e.g., "WhatISupport profile" or "WhatISupport service", not "I WhatISupported").
  • Attribution: Where possible, include a trademark notice such as: "WhatISupport is a trademark of WhatISupport LLC."
  • Proper symbols: Use the appropriate trademark symbol (™ or ®) when referencing WhatISupport marks.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Use "WhatISupport" in your project, product, or business name in a way that suggests official affiliation or endorsement (e.g., "WhatISupport Tools" or "Official WhatISupport Partner").
  • Create names, logos, or branding that are confusingly similar to or imitate WhatISupport marks.
  • Display WhatISupport marks more prominently than your own product or brand name.
  • Modify, combine, or create derivative versions of WhatISupport logos or marks.
  • Use WhatISupport marks on merchandise without a license.
  • Imply that WhatISupport endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with your project without written authorization.
  • Use WhatISupport marks in connection with illegal activities, scams, fraud, gambling, adult content, or any context that could harm the WhatISupport brand or community.
  • Use WhatISupport marks in connection with initial coin offerings (ICOs), token sales, airdrops, or similar cryptocurrency fundraising activities.

7. Enforcement

WhatISupport LLC reserves the right to take any action necessary to protect its trademarks and the WhatISupport community, including but not limited to revoking permissions, issuing cease-and-desist notices, and pursuing legal remedies for unauthorized or improper use. We may review your use of our trademarks at any time and may revoke permission if your use does not comply with these Guidelines.

8. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Trademark Guidelines from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. It is your responsibility to review these Guidelines periodically. If you do not agree with these Guidelines, do not use the WhatISupport trademarks.
